Swansea Dementia and Carer Project A partnership between SCVS and Swansea GP Clusters, and funded by the West Glamorgan Regional Partnership (ICF Dementia Funding); Swansea Dementia and Carer Project supports people living with Dementia, and carers of people with Dementia, registered in GP Practices in Swansea. New Ways to Wellbeing - Social Prescribing Project Swansea's Social Prescribing Service. SCVS is working in partnership with the 5 SBUHB GP clusters across Swansea to deliver a Social Prescribing Service – ‘New Ways to Wellbeing’. Social prescribing is a service connecting people to non-medical sources that will enable them to improve their health and wellbeing. These sources can include activities, opportunities, or connections to community groups and voluntary organisations. Click here for more information. Involve Volunteering Project Involve volunteers befriend children, young people, adults or families in our local community on a one to one basis, or in a group setting. Training We run a wide programme of courses to help third sector organisations gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to survive and thrive in these challenging times.
