Memorial service in Bridgend for loved and lost babies on January 12th

The annual memorial service in Bridgend for loved and lost babies will be held on Saturday 12th January 2019.
It will take place at St Mary’s, Nolton, Merthyr Mawr Road, Bridgend, starting at 2pm.
The service invites anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby to offer support and reflection in sharing the memories of their child.
It will be a time to spend reflecting with others who have experienced the loss of a child alongside professionals who may have provided care and support to yourself and your family.
During the service prayers and poems will be read and there will be the opportunity to light candles.
Afterwards all are invited to the church hall for refreshments.
Bereavement midwife Tanneke Berwick said: “This service not only brings families together to remember their babies, but it is also a time where friendships are made between families who are experiencing similar emotions.
“It is always a beautiful service and parents request that it’s in January in order to start the New Year remembering their babies with love.”
