All week | Arts in Health |
The SBUHB Arts & Heritage Team are inviting young people and their families to make their mark on a huge artwork that will tell the stories of Welsh people and how they are connected through their communities and across the world. In addition, there will be an exciting range of creative activities throughout the week of the Urdd Festival, open to all. On Monday 26th, Wednesday 28th and Saturday 31st there will be morning and afternoon arts workshops including self-portrait animation, illustration and drawing, watercolour painting, storytelling with thread, together with on-going activities to create 2 large arts installations throughout the entire week. There will also be music during the lunchtimes to chill out to, with a performance by Mared on Friday 30th. Taking time to be creative and express yourself has been shown to improve all sorts of things – it makes you feel better and enables you to tell others about how you feel - about what’s important to you and what’s important to everyone’s future. Come and visit the SBUHB arts stand and join in a week of creativity and sharing thoughts. |
