Swansea Bay University Health Board is celebrating after winning at the NHS Wales Awards 2024.
The winning projects are:
NHS Wales Learning and Research Award
On the Ground Clinical Lymphoedema Education Programme for Community Staff
NHS Wales Timely Care Award
Improving timeliness around the use of Naso-Gastric tube on an Acute Stroke unit
NHS Wales Whole Systems Approach Award
Cwmtawe Cluster: Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Model
This project also took home the Outstanding Contribution to Healthcare Improvement.
The awards were presented at a ceremony in Cardiff attended by finalists from across NHS Wales.
Judith Paget Director General for Health, Social Care and Early Years and the NHS Wales Chief Executive, said:

I take great pride in seeing the breadth of quality improvement projects underway across NHS Wales to transform our services for those that we care for. The NHS Wales Awards celebrate quality improvement work that has transformed the experience and outcomes for people in Wales and provides and showcases the talented health and care staff working together to improve services and patient care across Wales.
