Magnetic Resonance Physicist
Ben is a Magnetic Resonance Physicist in the MRI Physics Group. He has a particular interest in quality assurance, teaching and diffusion weighted imaging.
Ben has very close links to Swansea University. From 2013-2017 he completed his BSc in Particle Physics and Cosmology, and MSc in Medical Radiation Physics. In 2022 Ben published his PhD thesis based on adaptive control of laser beams. During his PhD Ben taught 1st and 3rd year laboratory experiments and took part in several scientific public outreach projects.
Ben is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the university and demonstrates the MRI laboratory sessions in the PMPM04 (MSc) Medical Imaging module.
