Living with cancer can feel very lonely. You might find it more difficult to do the things that you used to do, such as looking after yourself or your family, working, socialising with friends, taking part in your hobbies and staying active.
This can make you feel disconnected from yourself and others. It may also seem as if no one knows what you are going through. But, having a support network that you trust can help you to stay connected. It can also be helpful to hear from other people who may be struggling with similar concerns and worries.
Here are some ways that you can stay connected and build a support system:
