Urgent suspected referral

Have you been referred on an urgent suspected cancer pathway?

We understand that being referred with a suspicion of cancer can be worrying. An Urgent Suspected Cancer (USC) referral is designed to make sure you receive the right tests and specialist assessment as quickly as possible.

A USC referral does not mean you have cancer, and many people referred will receive a non-cancer diagnosis.

Here you can find information about what to expect, support available to you, and resources to help you stay informed, reassured and well during your wait for further tests or appointments
