Duty of Quality 

The Duty of Quality came into effect in April 2023. The Duty applies to health and social care across Wales. it applies to everything we do in the NHS, including clinical and non-clinical work. The Duty has two aims:

  1. To improve the quality of services
  2. To improve outcomes for people in Wales
